A museum in you hand - wonderful this is!!!!

How soothing it is to sit in a comfy chair and pour over the beautiful paintings presented in this app. While not as good as visiting a museum, I can spend much more time studying each painting without being jostled in a crowd. May I suggest putting each artists paintings in order of date painted and in which museum or private collection it resides? If not by date then put all the horizontal images together so the viewer doesnt have to keep turning the iPad to adjust for vertical and horizontal views.

Not to be missed - would be a must if it only contained Monet, Renoir or Van Gogh.

Fantastic app most especially for art lovers!!!

A collection of many lovely pieces from the period, but mostly second tier paintings of the obvious masters. Possibly missing those from a few specific museums? Would be interesting to know.

We need more of this.

Incredible detail and the inclusion of music is a nice touch.

Like having your own library of high definition art books is the least I can say. Big file, but well worth the space if youre an art lover.

So inspiring to see these masters art works assembled to look over. Great color and resolution!

False advertisement, the painting in Impressionism are bunch of poor quality, poorly selected scans of mostly black and white "sketches" and few color blurry images, completely. Even the famous Getty collection looks bad in this app. You are better off searching for images on a search engine.

The app provides some stunning images and you can download them or Email them. They are filed by useful categories and each is accompanied by a short description. Nearly as good as going to the art museum.

This app just like all the other art applications developed by Evolution games is a great addition to ones collection. Just like all the other apps you can view the images in multiple ways, bookmark the images, download the images and share the images. The collection itself is high quality with works from Van Gogh, Degas, Monet and other artists from the period. The app also displays works from multiple genres including animals, landscapes and self portraits. The one real drawback is that it is buggier than the other apps I have used so it could use a bit of refinement. Besides that Impressionism HD comes highly recommended.
